We have multiple openings at hedge funds here in Tokyo who are looking to hire analysts to focus on TMT, Consumer and Industrial sectors.

Job Description

・Build, develop and maintain earnings models for key companies in the research sector with the supervision of the PM / Senior Analyst.

・Cover stocks in the assigned research sector

・Generate long / short investment ideas and present them to the team

・Provide investment theses and strategies for industries and companies

・Build relationships with the sell side and corporates

Requirements

・At least 2 years of experience in equity research (sell side or buy side), or valuation / financial

analysis relevant role.

・Excellent analytical skills; able to build and maintain earnings models.

・Fluent level Japanese. Strong English is a plus.

・Good team player, hard worker, who is well motivated and detail orientated.

・Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, communicate effectively and meet

deadlines.

・Good computer skills especially using Excel and Bloomberg
